That’s right, ladies and gentlemen! Heritage Malta’s student passport scheme has been extended to include St John’s Co-Cathedral. This is one of the many benefits reaped after the memorandum of understanding detailing a collaboration between Heritage Malta and the St John’s Co-Cathedral foundation was signed last July.

So, what does it mean exactly?

The student passport scheme essentially allows access to most Heritage Malta sites and museums, for all students in primary and secondary schools. Access is completely free of charge for every student, as well as two accompanying adults.

St John’s Co-Cathedral, a gem of baroque art and architecture, has now been added to the wide array of historical places that the young’uns can appreciate and enjoy, by means of their Heritage Malta passport.

The memorandum of understanding covers a period of three years and signifies a crucial alliance between St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation and Heritage Malta. Among other goals, it enables the possibility of integrating visits to the Co-Cathedral within the passport scheme, whilst also exploring ways of combining visits to the Co-Cathedral, with visits to specific Heritage Malta museums.
