Ian Borg, the minister for transport, infrastructure and capital projects, announced that a sizeable investment has been secured, which will see Malta’s public transport vehicles go electric, as the islands acquired a fund packet from the European Union, as they work towards recuperating from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic

Malta is welcoming maiden flights from Genoa, Sofia and Brindisi

The Malta International Airport is welcoming three inaugural flights from Brindisi and Genoa in Italy and Sofia in Bulgaria. The flights, which will be operated by Ryanair until Ottobre, include bi-weekly flights to Brindisi, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Genoa on the same days and Sofia on Mondays and Fridays
