This Saturday 10 September, Malta’s well-known Rockestra concert will take place at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) grounds in Attard

Rockestra, Malta’s most popular and enduring rock marathon is set to take place this Saturday, featuring a host of well-known acts performing rock’s most powerful and iconic anthems. This 13th edition is especially notable for taking place in the grounds outside the MFCC for the first time in the event’s history, and the range of high-profile solo artists taking part including Ira Losco, Drakard and Amber.

The theme for this year’s iteration of the event is Rockestra – I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll!, in a change from last year’s power ballad theme, and promises music from bands including Gun’s & Roses, Pink Floyd and Metallica, amongst many others.

The production features the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Sigmund Mifsud, with artistic direction provided by Pawlu Borg Bonaci, and takes place in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
