Fontana Wine Festival Back for Another Year!
The coveted Fontana Wine Festival will be hosted for the third time by Kummissjoni Zghazagh Fontana in partnership with the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Cultural Heritage Directorate. Renowned artists including DJ Remii, D Capitals Big Band, and RED ELECTRIC are expected to perform this year. In addition to the festive atmosphere and the line-up jam-packed with great local artists, the festival will also feature over 20 wines for the attendees to sample.
The Fontana Wine Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that showcases a vast selection of locally produced Gozitan wines. These wines include Fontana’s own winery, Bacchus Winery, Delicata Wine Maker Ltd., and Marsovin Winery. The event will also provide a variety of wines, including Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Girgentina, Vermentino, Gellewza, and more, in red, white, rose, sweet, and sparkling varieties.
The event this year will begin at 8 p.m., and all attendees will have a joyful experience during the event, which will be centered around Fontana’s Parish Church. There is no entrance fee but for wine tasting, you must buy a glass. The glass will be a souvenir for the guest to keep.
There will be wine served until 11:30 p.m.
