Science in the City to Celebrate 10th Edition
Science in the City is the perfect event for individuals who would like to attend a space where they can interact with academics, researchers, artists, and performers. The festival is scheduled to take place from September 30 through October 1 2022.
The Festival’s inaugural event took place a decade ago, in 2012. It made history by being the first scientific and arts festival introduced in Malta. In recent years, both the number of activities and the number of partners, researchers, and volunteers involved have more than tripled.
On October 1, Valletta is ready to host a full day of entertaining and informative activities in association with Notte Bianca. The event is set to take place from 10 a.m. all the way to 11 p.m.
The organisers have declared that the goal of this year’s festival is to advocate the idea that citizens can use research-based knowledge to help identify the political, social, environmental, and technological opportunities around them.
Science in the City is co-funded by the Arts Council Malta (ACM), Esplora STEM Engagement fund, Truststamp, Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, and a number of other sponsors. It is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 101061120.
