Alas, a remake of the beloved musical ‘The Sound of Music’ will be performed in Malta this Aprile.

For those who aren’t aware of the premise of the story, the protagonist of “The Sound of Music” is a postulant who provides for the Captain von Trapp’s seven children while also bringing joy and singing into the house. But as the Nazis take over Austria, Maria and the complete von Trapp family are forced to make a moral decision. The Sound of Music, which features numerous well-known songs including “Climb Every Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do Re Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” and the title song, earned five Tony Awards and five Oscars. It also won hearts of audiences from all around the globe.

It has now landed in Malta for theatregoers to bask in Malta’s local talent through this high-end and symphonic production.
