Mark your calendars and get your family and friends together because on Sunday, 16 April from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mġarr will be hosting Malta’s annual Strawberry Festival.

Visitors will be able to admire the many lovely, fresh and locally-grown ripe strawberries whilst also having the opportunity to help create and enjoy strawberry dishes from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with a local chef, Manuel Aquilina.

Throughout the festival, visitors can expect to try everything from jams to gourmet dishes to snacks, desserts and beverages (all strawberry themed of course!)

There will also be different forms of entertainment such as folk dancing and traditional music to keep you engaged and to provide some fun for the entire family. You won’t need to worry about the kids not having fun as they can take part in painting competitions and train rides. A team of animators will also be present to help entertain the little ones.
