An Exquisite Wine Tasting Masterclass This Giugno

Left via CANTINE FINA Wineries

If you’re a lover of wine and are fascinated by its origins and have an interest in learning more about how it was produced, then this masterclass is for you.

On Venerdì 30 Giugno, Adrian Rizzo – Malta’s leading wine educator, will be leading a masterclass and will aid the group in understanding more about what is actually in their glass, how it was made, who made it and why it tastes the way it does.

The wines which are up for tasting, are from Sicilian wine manufacturer ‘Cantine FINA’ so the quality of the wines is unquestioned. During the masterclass, guests will be able to taste five different wines. These include:

  • Taif (Zibibbo)
  • Kebrilla (Grillo)
  • Caro Maestro (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot)
  • Kike (Traminer 90%, Sauvignon Blanc 10%)
  • Fina Hanami (Merlot Rose)

If you prefer tasting wine with accompanying foods, worry not as a very generous selection will also be available. Fruits, cured meats, cheeses, vegetable sticks and bread will all be served.

Cantine FINA wines are run by a family business and hail from Marsala, Sicily. They believe that the hard work that is done in the vineyard is what gives their wines such a distinct and high-quality taste.

The masterclass will be held at Villa Bighi in Kalkara and the session will be outdoors if the weather allows. The event is in collaboration with M&Z Wine Imports and this marks the eighteenth wine-tasting masterclass. With Adrian as the mentor and all produce and products specifically sourced for the masterclass, guests can be sure that they will be enjoying a range of high-quality foods and wines, under the guidance of a highly knowledgable mentor.
