WATCH: AIDAN’s Road to Eurovision Starts in Bulgaria
Maltese Eurovision representative AIDAN spent the past weekend in Bulgaria as part of his preparations for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, officially launching his international promotional campaign ahead of the competition.
On Saturday morning, AIDAN gave his first-ever international television interview on Bulgaria’s most-watched morning TV show, where he spoke about his Eurovision journey and introduced his song “Bella” to viewers.
During his visit, AIDAN was also invited to perform at Bulgaria’s National Final, where he had the opportunity to meet fellow artists, including Albania’s competing artist Alis and the winner of the Bulgarian National Final, Dara. The experience provided a valuable opportunity to connect with Eurovision performers and audiences in one of the countries set to vote in Malta’s semi-final.
While in Bulgaria, AIDAN also met Eldar Gasimov, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, who represented Azerbaijan.
AIDAN will continue promoting “Bella” through a series of interviews across online platforms, television programmes, and radio stations around Europe.
AIDAN will represent Malta at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest this May in Vienna. Malta is set to compete in the second semi-final, performing in the second half of the show.
