Last night Pete Tong performed a stunning set that celebrated all his classic, well-known and greatly loved hits. The concert took place at Malta’s largest public square, the Granaries in Floriana.
Titled Pete Tong’s Classics, the UK-based DJ teamed up with The Heritage Orchestra and conductor Jules Buckley, to put a brand new spin on his tracks, which beautifully combined authentic instruments with more electronic ones. The performance featured three albums – Classic House, Ibiza Classics and Chilled Classics.
The event was one of the island’s standing ones in a long while since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and followed the most up-to-date health protocols. Attendees were grouped in bubbles of up to 100 people, with separate entrances, bars and amenities.
