A fintastic Christmas at the aquarium
The Malta National Aquarium will be providing families with the perfect wintery setting for a holiday outing of fun this season, with an extensive calendar of events. Little visitors with aquarium admission can participate in the activities for free and will find even more holiday décor than they may have seen before, in their brand new winter wonderland, which is debuting this year.
Here are some of the events, which will be happening at the Aquarium:
Winter wonderland
They have transformed a section of the aquarium into a complete Christmas wonderland, which all visitors can enjoy, using a special token that is included in every single aquarium ticket.
Breakfast with Santa
Next up: breakfast with Santa Claus, which is returning to the venue as part of the festive activities, on 11 December. Surrounded by light, festive cheer and in the company of the main man himself, you and your children can experience a truly magical morning together. This year’s event will include a buffet breakfast, arts and crafts station, VR experience and a meet and greet with Santa himself. He’ll even be presenting visitors with gifts! The experience simply wouldn’t be complete without seeing Santa dive (safely) with the sharks.
Just a little note: tickets for this event must be purchased separately from the admission free for normal admission.

Christmas VR
Experience the amazing power of the Christmas-themed virtual reality to enhance their Christmas spirit.
Arts and crafts station
For the more creative, there will be an arts and crafts station featuring themed crafts, assisted by Santa’s elves. Kids will even be able to create their own Christmas cards for Santa.

Speaking of Santa, kids can post their own letters to Santa in his magic letter box and it will be sent to Lapland for a special delivery. Santa would be thrilled to read children’s wishes and dreams for the new year and might even grant some of them, too.
Santa’s grotto
Have your children share their Christmas wishlist with Father Christmas and take a photo with him. They will certainly cherish such memories for years to come.
fishes and wishes
Finally, close your eyes and make a wish before feeding the fish. On scheduled dates and times, which will be released soon, children can take part in their fishes and wishes activities, thus completing the Malta National Aquarium’s Christmas calendar of events for 2021!
