The Travellers, a well known and greatly loved band from the island of Gozo, are planning the release of their brand new single called Il-Biża. The music video will be launched on the 9 of August and is the first release of their upcoming album.

The band began dropping subtle hints on their return to the music scene in July. They went all black on their socials and released a sneak peak of their upcoming neon-inspired image and we’re excited about it.

Their latest single titled Il-Biża, revolves around the internal struggle one has to deal with when faced with mental health issues. The single personifies this fear and expresses it in a unique and daring way, with an interesting message. The music itself invokes a sense of awe and a completely new direction from their previous releases.

There’s more! The Travellers have also teamed up with the Richmond Foundation in delivering a message of hope to everyone dealing with mental health issues. The focus will be for people to speak up and talk to a professional if they feel that their mental health is at stake.

Il-Biża marks The Travellers first release from their upcoming album since their last one in 2018, called Iljuni fis-Silġ, which includes award-winning and chart-topping hits such as Ħafi Paċi Kuluri and Ersaq fil-Qrib.
