The world’s best-selling sports game, ‘Fifa’ (and its respective franchise) has included Malta’s own rising and promising athlete Haley Bugeja as one of the playable players in its newest update.

The popular sports game, developed by Electronic Arts under their sports label ‘EA’, releases the newest edition of the game yearly and updates each one with corresponding teams, players, stadiums, coaches and managers. In this year’s edition of Fifa 23, Haley can be seen in the game’s trailer wearing her team Orlando Pride’s purple jersey in the upcoming update.

EA partnered up with the National Women’s Soccer League and released a trailer showing many female athletes in the high-ranking football community. The newest update will be made available for play on 15 Marzo, so if you enjoy playing Fifa and want to support a fellow Maltese, you won’t want to miss out on this.
