Buddha-Bar, the internationally renowned restaurant and lifestyle brand, has officially opened its doors in St Julian’s, bringing its distinctive mix of Asian-inspired cuisine, inventive cocktails, atmospheric interiors and signature lounge music to the island.

Born in Paris in 1996, Buddha-Bar has spent three decades building a reputation that extends well beyond its restaurants. Founded by Raymond and Tarja Visan, the brand has become synonymous with a particular kind of cosmopolitan lifestyle, combining Asian-inspired dining, dramatic interiors and music that is instantly recognisable.
From Dubai and Monte-Carlo to Prague, Marrakech and Mykonos, its venues have attracted an international following. Malta now joins this impressive list, giving visitors another reason to add St Julian’s to their dining itinerary.
