Three Cities Edition opens the 2024 Intersport 10k Series
2015 saw the introduction of the 10k Series Malta, also known as the Hudson Race Series, by Race Director Charlie Demanuele and the Hudson Group. Sponsored by Nike, the five-race Series is held in some of Malta’s most picturesque and historic locations. Each of the 5 races is hosted in a different town; Three Cities, Dingli, Maqluba (Qrendi), Burmarrad, and Valletta. The Three Cities Edition will be kicking off the 2024 Hudson Race Series on January 14.
The 10k Series Malta races were created with the intention of uniting the local running community through five road running events held in some of the lesser-known parts of Malta. The community welcomes experienced runners and new ones alike. There is also a 5km route for those who don’t want to run a longer distance or perhaps only recently started running and are still working up to 10k.
The Running routes have been thoughtfully mapped out to motivate participants, featuring flat sections, hills, and beautiful scenery. What’s more, water stops will be accessible at the 5km point and finish lines, giving runners the strength to make it to the finish line, where a hype environment and a cool medal are waiting for them. Moreover, Series medals are known for being unique and worth competing for! Not to mention, there will be a huge afterparty at the finish line!

These races, which are now known as the Intersport 10k Series, have drawn thousands of competitors since they started. Those who wish to participate must register, which can easily be done online. Registration for the race opens a day before the event, on January 13. But, fair warning – the race begins bright and early at 7 am!
