Triton Carnival Marks 10th Anniversary with Star-Studded Float
Triton Carnival float to feature internationally renowned celebrities such as Elton John and Bob Marley.
Join in on the festive atmosphere of joy and celebration on the streets of Valletta and Floriana, and witness the Triton Carnival Company float amongst others in action, starting from this Saturday, 10 February, and continuing through Tuesday, 13 February, from 3:30 pm onwards.
The Triton Carnival Company is once again vying for the top spot, competing in the highest section of the carnival competition, Section A Trijonfali, for the eighth consecutive year. This achievement holds significant importance for Triton Carnival as it commemorates its tenth anniversary this year.
The float presented by Triton Carnival this year is a whimsical representation of internationally renowned artists such as Lady Gaga, Elton John, Shakira, Coldplay, Gigi D’Agostino, Bob Marley, and ABBA. DJ Gigi D’Agostino will be accompanied by various artists who will come together to play their favourite instruments, creating a magnificent concert experience.
Behind the Scenes of Crafting a Carnival Float
The float will be brought to life amidst a delightful atmosphere during the festivities in the square, where its movement mechanisms and special effects will captivate audiences of all ages, particularly children.
