Aleksandra Hałat, a pianist, chamber musician, and scholar, boasts an impressive pedigree. As a lecturer at the University of Silesia, Poland, she brings extensive expertise in musical arts and chamber music. Her notable accomplishments include receiving scholarships from esteemed institutions like the American Institute for Musical Studies and the Vienna International Pianists, as well as initiating the Karol Rathaus Project to promote Rathaus’s work worldwide. Hałat’s collaboration with renowned artists and performances at prestigious festivals further underscore her contribution to the musical landscape.

Julia Miller, the other half of this dynamic duo, brings her own rich background to the stage. Graduating from the Music Academy of Lodz, she has established herself both nationally and internationally as a versatile pianist and accompanist. Her diverse experiences, from collaborating with vocalists to performing in renowned festivals, highlight her musical versatility and dedication to her craft. Miller’s current pursuit of a DMus at the University of Malta underscores her commitment to scholarly exploration, focusing on female composers from the late 19th century, enriching our understanding of music history.
