Discover Local Creativity and Talent at The Selfmade Market This April
The Selfmade Market is returning to Valletta for its next edition on Saturday, 11 April 2026, transforming Pjazza Jean de la Valette into a vibrant space exhibiting creatives from 10am to 6pm. This spring edition invites visitors to explore a diverse selection of handmade and self-designed products by talented local artisans and creatives.
Organised by Selfmade Malta, the market is the result of a collaboration between Nicole and Elenia Borg from Lincole Handmade, Jessica Magro from Carina Print and Designs, and local artist Johann Agius. As creatives themselves, the organisers joined forces to establish a platform that celebrates the many talented people based in Malta, while offering emerging artists and makers the opportunity to showcase their work to the public.
Building on the success of previous editions, the upcoming market will feature a carefully curated mix of unique items, including original artworks, home décor, artisan jewellery, prints, and handcrafted goods. Visitors can expect a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere where creativity takes centre stage and every item tells a story.
The orgnisers tell Oh My Malta, “We created Selfmade Malta as a space where creatives can come together, share their work, and connect directly with the community. This market is not just about selling products. We want to celebrate individuality, support local talent, and give emerging artists the visibility they deserve. We’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors to experience what our creative community has to offer.”
Whether you’re looking to support local makers, discover one-of-a-kind pieces, or simply enjoy a creative day out in Valletta, The Selfmade Market promises something for everyone.
