The Maltese feature film Ciao Ciao, directed by Keith Tedesco, is now officially streaming on Amazon Prime Video across major international markets, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, and Australia.

This international release marks a significant milestone for Malta’s expanding film industry, bringing locally produced cinematic work to a global audience through one of the world’s leading streaming platforms.

Ciao Ciao is a dark comedy-drama that follows two reunited couples whose friendly dinner gathering gradually unravels into a tense and chaotic evening, revealing uncomfortable truths and shifting relationships.

The film was produced by Lampa Stampa and Roughcut Films, and features a strong Maltese creative team both in front of and behind the camera. It highlights the growing ambition and quality of independent filmmaking emerging from Malta.

The production was supported by Arts Council Malta, whose continued investment in the local creative industries plays a key role in helping Maltese productions reach international audiences.

The film stars Mikhail Basmadjian, Antonella Axisa, Chris Dingli, Simone Spiteri, Katrina Lupi, Ryan Mark De Battista, Kevin Naudi, and Ruth Borg.
