BJUDA, a project that brings together poetry, photography and music will be inaugurated on the 9 February at Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, Santa Venera

BJUDA is a project that culminates in an exhibition and a publication, relating to the colour white through different phases in life – from childhood to late adulthood. At the core of this white experience, there is youth.

This interdisciplinary and synesthetic project brings together Leanne Ellul’s poetry in Maltese translated to English by Albert Gatt, Giola Cassar’s photography and Kenneth Sacco’s music, which will be shared for the first time.

A number of events will be held during the exhibition period, namely a poetry reading, discussions and workshops with youths and adults alike.

The exhibition is curated by curated by Elyse Tonna and will be open for the three weeks as from 9 February at Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, Santa Venera.

The book, designed by designed by Zvezdan Reljić, can be acquired from said exhibition venue.

The project is financed by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ on its 10th year anniversary.
