Michael Bublé Is Playing Malta Next Week, Here's Everything You Need to Know
It’s been a long time coming. Michael Bublé performs his first-ever Malta concert at Ta’ Qali National Park on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, and if you haven’t got your ticket yet, here’s everything you need to know before the big night.
This will be a fully seated event with tickets strictly limited, so it should feel more like a real concert experience than a festival field. Ta’ Qali is a sprawling open-air venue in the centre of the island, roughly equidistant from most parts of Malta, about 20 minutes from Valletta and 25 minutes from St Julian’s. Gates open at 18:00.
Getting there is straightforward. Buses from Valletta Bus Terminus serve the Ta’ Qali area, and on major event nights organisers typically arrange additional shuttle services, it’s worth checking Malta Public Transport closer to the date for any event-specific routes. Bolt or eCabs are the easier option for most people, but book your ride home in advance rather than trying to hail one after the show when everyone is leaving at once. If you’re driving, factor in the post-show traffic and leave early.
Tickets are available via EventWorks, with pricing running from €40 for obstructed view, €60 Bronze, €100 Silver, €200 Gold and €300 Platinum. Accessibility tickets are €60 and cover both the ticket holder and a helper. Some categories may still be available but it’s been selling fast since April, so check sooner rather than later.
Malta appears to be the final date on Bublé’s European summer run, which has taken him through Malahide Castle in Dublin, Thomond Park in Limerick, Belfast, Lytham Festival, Blenheim Palace and Scarborough over the past two weeks. By the time he lands here he’ll be well into his stride.
A typical show runs between one hour 45 minutes and two hours, bringing classic big band swing, jazz standards and his own hits to the fore. Based on his official 2026 concert playlist and recent shows, expect most of the following across the night: Feeling Good, Haven’t Met You Yet, L-O-V-E, Sway, Everything, Home, Fly Me to the Moon, Such a Night, Me and Mrs Jones, and You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You, along with a medley or two of classic covers. He usually closes with an encore, we won’t spoil it for you!
Of course, he’s known for his very charming stage presence and storytelling throughout the show, you’ll get way more than just a run-through of songs. He regularly chats with the crowd, makes jokes, and occasionally brings fans into the spotlight. Don’t be surprised if someone in the front row ends up on stage!
It’s July in Malta so it’ll be warm even into the evening, dress light but bring a layer for later. The concert also sits in the middle of a packed July on the islands, with the Jazz Festival running 6–11 July on the Valletta waterfront and Isle of MTV with Katy Perry on 22 July, if you’re making more of a trip of it. And worth remembering: this is his first ever show in Malta, which means there’s no guarantee he’ll be back anytime soon. If you’re on the fence, that’s probably your sign to book!
